Revolutionising net banking for one of India’s largest private sector bank, Kotak Mahindra bank. An application journey designed using an agile process for users to apply for home and business loans online.

I was part of the product planning and strategy discussions, design brainstorming and development handover meetings. My role was to develop product requirements, prescribe design solutions, user task flows, information architecture, design wireframes, work on the UI and visual design and test & iterate the designs.

The journey starts by the user filling in their details, annual income, credit scores, property/business type, co-applicants, etc. Once the user selects their desired loan amount, tenure and EMI, their details are run through a software- Perfios and the user is given a quote, the user can either accept it or opt for a higher quote through another Partner- Finfort by adding in their income tax details. Once the user accept the quote, they submit the necessary documents after which the user gets an instant loan disbursement. Making the tedious process of getting a loan easier and faster where they could have their loan sanctioned in under 8 hours.
